Paul received his B.S. in Chemistry from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from the University of California Berkeley. Paul scored a composite score of 34 on the ACT. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Applied Physics at Harvard University before deciding to switch his career to medicine. Paul is very passionate about teaching (or even just chatting about) science and mathematics; at Berkeley, he taught 5 semesters of undergraduate classes and won several teaching awards. Paul is currently a medical student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and, in his spare time, enjoys hiking with his dog, long-distance running, and playing piano.
