Quinn is a graduate of the University of Chicago and the Johns Hopkins University. As a tutor, he specializes in writing assignments across the board, from college application essays and personal statements to research papers and book reports. He is passionate about teaching students to express themselves in writing and to put their best foot forward in the academic scene. As a teaching assistant at thePeabody Conservatory, Quinn helped ESL students improve their critical writing skills and their grasp of English grammar. Quinnhas a broad academic background, having double majored in Music and South Asian Languages and Civilizations and completed advanced coursework in world literature, social sciences, environmental sciences, evolutionary biology, geology, religious studies, and art history. Additionally, he spent a semester abroad in South and Central India, studying Indian history, literature, and architecture as well as the Hindi language. Quinn is an experienced composer and double bassist who recently earned a Master’s degree in Music Composition. He can be found exploring the Upper West Side for new inspiration for his music.
